Zissis Kotionis is a PhD architect, artist and writer. He is a Professor in the Department of Architecture, University of Thessaly, Greece. He has published twelve books and monographs on architectural theory, urban culture, art projects and narrative poetry. His architectural and art projects have been internationally published, awarded and exhibited in Universities, Galleries and Museums. His work includes built and performative architecture, design, painting and sculpture, artistic performances, installations and public art practices. In 2010 he represented Greece in the 12th Biennale of Architecture, Venice with the project “The Ark”.
